Athena Wilkinson is an accomplished Dolby Atmos certified audio engineer and vocal producer, who always strives to bring an innovative approach to immersive sound. As a Grammy Recording Academy Voting Member and a UMG Atmos Approved Engineer, she brings her industry expertise to projects at every level. Athena works at and helps manage the 7.1.4 Atmos-approved Evergroove Studio, under the guidance of her accomplished mentor, Brad Smalling. With a portfolio that includes work with Story of the Year, Of Mice & Men, David Arkenstone, and a diverse range of indie musicians across all genres, Athena has robust experience in mixing across the stereo and immersive formats.

 

She works with Atmos daily, transforming musical projects into captivating auditory experiences that resonate with listeners. As a classical trained vocalist, her passion for creative collaboration shines through in her vocal production, where she brings unique ideas and an artist-focused approach to projects of any style.

 

An advocate for education, Athena has taught Atmos certification and shared her knowledge at industry events like NAMM. She is especially committed to empowering women and non-binary individuals in the audio engineering field, believing in the transformative power of technology and creativity.
